Bring your energy to Aggreko as Power or Maintenance Technician based in Reno, NV.

We are hiring across multiple experience levels—from mechanically inclined Planned Maintenance Technicians to experienced Power Generation Technicians. If you have experience with generators, diesel or natural gas engines, heavy equipment, industrial maintenance, automotive/truck repair, electrical troubleshooting, or field service, we want to hear from you.

What you'll do:
  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on power generation and related equipment.
  • Service diesel and natural gas generators, including oil and filter changes, fluid checks, and general equipment maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using hand tools, multimeters, schematics, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Support equipment installation, commissioning, and operation at customer sites.
  • Accurately complete service and maintenance documentation.
  • Follow all safety and customer-site requirements.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
  • Experience with generators, diesel engines, heavy equipment, automotive repair, industrial maintenance, or similar equipment preferred.
  • Ability to work safely in a hands-on field environment.
  • Valid driver's license and High School Diploma/GED.
  • Flexibility to work either 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and overtime as required.

As part of the role, Aggreko provides an excellent benefits package plus 90–180 days of paid training (all expenses covered) at one of our U.S.-based Aggreko Learning Centers to ensure you’re fully equipped for success on site.

Pay: Approximately $28–$45+/hour, based on experience, technical skill level, and certifications. Higher rates may be available for highly specialized power-generation experience.
